As a Team Lead Commercial Operations, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for the quality and continuity of commercial master data and operational processes within Action. You combine a coaching leadership style with a hands-on mindset and remain actively involved in the day-to-day operation. This enables you to stay closely connected to the processes, act as a trusted sparring partner for your team, and respond quickly when operational demands arise. Together, you ensure that thousands of products are available in our stores at the right time and with the right information.

What will you do?

• Lead the Commercial Operations team on a daily basis and take responsibility for planning, quality, and results.
• Coach, support, and develop team members so they can perform at their best.
• Remain actively involved in daily operations and serve as the first point of contact for complex issues and escalations.
• Take on operational tasks yourself when needed.
• Balance operational execution, process improvement, and team development.
• Monitor the progress of operational processes and set the right priorities.
• Analyze KPIs and translate insights into concrete improvement actions.
• Work closely with Buying, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
• Initiate and lead process improvements and change initiatives within the department.
• Contribute actively to the continued professionalization of Commercial Operations.

This is you

You are a coaching and collaborative leader who is energized by developing people and improving processes. You bring structure, make decisions confidently, and can seamlessly switch between operational activities, coaching, and strategic improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree level of thinking and working (HBO) or equivalent.
• Experience leading or coaching a team.
• You enjoy being actively involved in operations in addition to your leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience working in a KPI-driven environment.
• Experience with process optimization and change management.
• Affinity with data, Excel, and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong command of both Dutch and English.
