(Full-time/part-time 36-38 hours per week)

Ready to recruit for the teams that keep the business moving?

Are you looking for an opportunity where you can apply your recruitment expertise in a role with real business impact? If you’re passionate about finding and engaging top talent and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment,  this could be your next step.

Action is growing rapidly, and we’re looking to strengthen our recruitment team with a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Business Operations portfolio. This portfolio includes Real Estate, Sustainability, Store Operations, Business Strategy & Analytics, and Fraud & Security - a unique mix of functions that sit at the core of how Action operates and scales across Europe.

Based at our international headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost, your main goal will be to attract and recruit exceptional talent aligned with Action’s ambitious international growth.

This is your daily action

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for roles within your portfolio. From intake to offer, you’re in the lead partnering with the business, shaping hiring strategies, and ensuring we bring in the right talent at the right time.

You’ll spend your days actively sourcing candidates from your talent pools, using platforms such as LinkedIn, and working closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to stay ahead of hiring needs.

You take a proactive, targeted approach to finding and engaging talent — building strong pipelines and translating business needs into effective hiring strategies. Conducting interviews and delivering a strong candidate experience will be a key part of your role. When you’ve found the right candidate, you’ll confidently manage the offer process and ensure a smooth onboarding.

You’ll partner with stakeholders who are sharp, fast-paced, and focused on results — an environment where strong stakeholder management and confidence are key to success.

Collaboration is at the heart of Action’s success. You’ll work closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers as a true sparring partner. In addition, you’ll be part of a dedicated Talent Acquisition team consisting of a Head of Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition Team Lead, Recruitment Operations Specialist, Recruiters and our RPO — all working together to hire the right talent for Action’s continued growth.

We welcome more than 15 million customers every week in more than 3,000 stores in 15 European countries. We have great growth ambitions. For Action and for you. Because our growth means that you can always take new steps. A different position, an interesting innovation project, new skills: you can continue to develop as a professional. And all this in a culture where our shared values are truly lived: customer focus, teamwork, simplicity, discipline, cost conscious and respect.

Did you know that you can also count on us for:

  • 24 vacation days, with the possibility to buy 5 extra days (based on a 38-hour workweek)
  • Annual bonus based on business and personal performance
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working (3 days in office)
  • 15% staff discount at Action stores
  • Excellent pension scheme, home working allowance and travel allowance (Zwaagdijk-Oost is easily reachable from Amsterdam by car or public transport)
  • Action shuttle service to and from Hoorn Station

How we contribute to society

If you only know Action from the stores, a world will open up for you when you come and work with us. We work hard to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you know, for example, that we sponsor more than 2,500 children worldwide who grow up in an SOS Children's Village? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including 155 different nationalities? That we purchase 94% of our wood products and 100% of our cotton sustainably? And that almost all our stores only use energy-efficient LED lighting? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we’re facilitating? Join our team and find out for yourself.
