As a Supply Chain Fleet Manager, you play a key tactical role in shaping the performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of our European trailer and truck fleet — a network of more than 1,600 trailers supporting all our distribution centres.

As Fleet Manager, you operate on a tactical level within the Facility & Equipment Management team and report directly to the SC Equipment & Asset Manager. You take the lead in establishing the right foundation for fleet planning, maintenance strategies, and long term asset performance.
Your responsibilities include:
Fleet Administration & Contract Management
- Managing European contracts with various suppliers, leasing companies, maintenance partners, and service providers.
- Ensuring all assets are correctly registered and documented, including lease agreements, compliance information, and insurance.
- Leading and coordinating tenders for trailers, trucks, tyres, maintenance contracts, and spare parts.
- Driving contract renewals, terminations, and negotiations.
- Working closely with Procurement, Legal and Finance to ensure compliance.
Tactical Fleet Management & Process Ownership
- Developing, standardising and managing fleet processes from procurement to end of life.
- Determining the strategy per DC and selecting maintenance partners.
- Establishing long term partnerships for repair and maintenance across the fleet.
- Identifying structural issues and redesigning processes to improve reliability.
Control, Reporting & Performance Insights
- Creating reporting frameworks to monitor fleet performance (TCO, lifecycle costs, KPIs).
- Monitoring supplier KPIs and escalating when needed.
- Delivering analyses and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Acting as the tactical link between Transport, Procurement, Legal, Finance and suppliers.
- Handling escalations across the network.
- Representing the team in cross functional internal projects.

Must have qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 5–7+ years of experience in fleet or transport management
- Knowledge of trailer lifecycle, leasing, maintenance models and total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Experience in tendering, negotiation and supplier management
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to have
- Experience with R&M contracts
- Knowledge of EU transport regulations
- Experience selecting workshops and service networks
