Store Checker
The Store Checker is part of the department Store Openings, Training & Control and reports directly to the Team Lead Store Checker.
The Store Checker works together with the Store Operations department, the Area manager, Regional manager and Store Managers of the training stores.
He/she assures the execution of the Action formula and values through monitoring and support of the trainers and through store checks with subsequent improvement proposals.
Areas of responsibility
1.Training stores
- Support the trainers in optimizing their knowledge and application regarding the procedures.
- Support the annual train the trainer session for the trainers.
- Check and support on the execution of the content of the training program, evaluations and status of the 8 week planning.
- Train the trainers in optimizing the application of the daily and weekly activities.
- Check and support the execution on the compliance of the safety- and house rules.
- Train and improve the trainers in optimizing their knowledge and application regarding the training (soft) skills, propose improvements.
- Check on the demonstration of leadership skills and demonstration and promotion of Action values.
- Propose improvements in the training program to the Team Lead Store Checker.
2.Evaluation Trainee’s
- Evaluate the personal experiences of the trainee within the training program.
- Check if the learned meets the requirements.
3.Store Checks
- Execute general store checks (mainly in immature countries) and topic-based store checks on various subjects, for instance customer focus.
- Execute store checks on demand of Store Operations and on demand of the Area manager.
Requirements - Hard and soft skills
- 2 years of experience as a Store manager
- 1 year of experience as a Store manager trainer
- Expertise in Action in the areas of KPI’s, rules and procedures, work structures and store image
- Prepared to travel daily (from 800 to 2000 kilometers per week) within and out of the country boundaries and prepared to stay overnight
- Expertise on the English language (both written and verbal) and expertise in operational working language (both written and verbal)
- Actively searches, within the responsibilities of his own function, for the wishes and needs of the internal customer and delivers, if possible, even more or faster than agreed or than the (internal) customer expects
- Comes up with proposals to organize processes efficiently with regard to the use of both time and resources
- Works effectively with others to achieve common goals, seeks cooperation in this
- Is very organized, knows how to structure activities and projects, meets agreements within deadlines and in accordance with guidelines
- Show that less can also be more by simplifying processes and activities where possible
