This is your daily action
As a Solution Architect – Supply Chain, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that support Action’s rapidly evolving supply chain operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure our IT landscape aligns with operational needs and strategic goals.
This role is requiring deep expertise in SAP supply chain and warehousing processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Develop and maintain architecture for supply chain processes, focusing on SAP EWM.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and other systems supporting logistics and retail operations.
- Business Alignment: Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into system solutions.
- Implementation Support: Guide project teams during SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Governance: Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and documentation.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the supply chain.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership.

With some 120 internal colleagues at the international headquarters, Technology works pragmatically, in a fast, solution-oriented way on various IT solutions in order to support Action’s growth in all countries in a good and standardised way. You are analytical and professional and use your good communication skills to help connect with others. You have an affinity for retail and know how to strike the balance between detail and the bigger picture in this environment.
In addition:
- Required Skills & Experience
- SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and retail logistics processes.
- Hands-On Approach: Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and data analysis capabilities.
- Business Acumen: Ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years in SAP solution architecture or similar roles within supply chain environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale retail or FMCG environments.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and cloud-based integrations.
- Knowledge of automation tools and emerging supply chain technologies.
