Full-time, 38 hours per week

As Senior Technical Specialist IT Supply Chain, you play a key role in the operation and further development of the technical infrastructure in our distribution centres.
Your daily tasks
You are the technical expert within the Supply Chain IT team and carry full responsibility for multiple specific applications and technical areas, including voice picking, mobile computers, label printing, CCTV, access solutions and IT equipment rooms within the DCs. You work closely with Solution Architects, Application Analysts, Project Managers and the Service Delivery Manager.
Your core tasks include:
- Implementing, configuring and testing technical infrastructure and applications within the DC landscape
- Actively monitoring the technical infrastructure and proactively advising on improvements
- Translating functional requirements into technical specifications and change requests
- Monitoring the handling of incidents by suppliers based on agreed SLAs and escalating where necessary
- Independently managing smaller projects without a Project Manager, supported by the Service Delivery Manager
- Coaching junior and medior Technical Specialists in their daily activities and development
- Identifying improvement opportunities on your own initiative and aligning with business stakeholders
- Ensuring complete and up-to-date documentation in accordance with current guidelines and the IT control framework
Meet your team
You will be part of the Supply Chain IT team and report to the IT Manager Supply Chain. The team consists of Technical Specialists, Application Analysts and Solution Architects who work together to keep the IT infrastructure in the DCs running optimally. You are the go-to person for Project Managers and Architects within your area of expertise.
What You Offer
- Higher professional education (HBO) or Master's level with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- At least 5 years of experience in IT
- ITIL certification is required
- Knowledge of DC automation is essential
- Extensive experience with technical infrastructure and applications within the area of responsibility
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of French and/or German is an advantage
- Project management experience is recommended
- Strong relationship management, risk management and stakeholder communication skills

- Deep understanding of business processes within the technical area of responsibility
