The Security Manager for Supply Chain & Offices plays a critical role in safeguarding Action’s operations by developing and executing a comprehensive security strategy across both supply chain and office environments. This position is responsible for ensuring the protection of assets, people, and processes by proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.
What you’ll spend your time doing:

 

Key responsibilities include supporting organization-wide risk management initiatives, implementing measures to prevent and respond to fraud, and managing incidents that may impact the integrity of the supply chain or office functions. A core focus of the role is to reduce stock loss through targeted prevention strategies, data analysis, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. The Security Manager also works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies, conducts regular assessments, and drives continuous improvement in security practices. By fostering a culture of vigilance and accountability, this role contributes directly to the resilience and efficiency of Action’s operations.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities are:

 


Supply Chain & Offices Security Strategy


Develops Action’s strategy, policies and procedures on Supply Chain & Offices Security based on subject matter expertise and organizational objectives (e.g. risk appetite). 

 

Supply Chain & Offices Risk Management 


The Security Manager for Supply Chain & Offices leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management processes, methodologies, procedures, and tools across Action’s supply chain and office functions. This includes a strong focus on minimizing stock loss, enhancing operational resilience, and ensuring effective fraud prevention.

 

Supply Chain & Offices Security


Manages Risk Assessments to assist senior management, country management and functional directors in their identification and assessment of Supply Chain & Offices Security risks as well as the related remediating actions.

The Security Manager Supply Chain & Offices is part of the Fraud and Security Department and reports directly to the Head of Fraud & Security. The Security Manager Supply Chain & Offices leads the Security Manager Supply Chain & Offices team consisting of Security Experts.

 

This is you:

  • Works effectively with others to achieve common targets

 

Further requirement:

 

  • Economic, Law or Exact Sciences grade, WO level (master degree), a fraud certification such as CFE is preferred; 
  • At least 12 years of experience, of which a substantial part in the domain of fraud or Supply Chain & Offices Security management; 
  • Experience in managing and coaching a team of Security professionals; 
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain & Offices Security Risk Management principles, also including the execution of forensic investigations; 
  • Solid understanding of and experience with the application of data analytics to Fraud Risk Management; 
  • Solid understanding of physical and technical Supply Chain & Offices security measures and requirements 
  • Knowledge of and experience in fraud management systems; 
  • Knowledge of TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association)
  • Experience in the retail sector preferred;
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing), fluency in French and German preferred.
