This is your daily action
As Project Manager Communications, you will be part of the Communications department and report to the Communications Manager. The team is responsible for company content and communication activities from our international headquarters.
A key focus of your role will be the coordination and production of Action’s Annual Report and quarterly financial communications. You will manage the process from planning through to publication, bringing together input from multiple stakeholders and ensuring content is delivered accurately, consistently and on time.
You will work closely with Finance, Sustainability, HR, Buying, Supply Chain and other departments to collect, structure and translate complex business information into clear and accessible communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage the end-to-end production of the Annual Report, including planning, content collection, review rounds, approvals and publication;
- Coordinate the preparation and publication of quarterly financial statements, results and related communications;
- Working closely with Finance and senior internal stakeholders to translate financial and business information into clear, consistent and understandable content;
- Coordinating contributions from different departments and ensuring deadlines, review processes and approvals are closely managed;
- Ensuring consistency and accuracy across financial, sustainability and company reporting;
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as design and production agencies, throughout the reporting process;
- Creating and coordinating corporate content for Action’s website and other communication channels;
- Supporting other corporate communication projects and publications where required;
- Continuously improving reporting and communication processes while carefully managing timelines and budgets.

This is you
Our Project Manager Communications is a highly organised and detail-oriented communications professional who is comfortable working with financial, corporate and business information. You understand that accuracy matters and are able to turn complex information into clear and accessible communication without losing the underlying meaning.
You are confident coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing several workstreams simultaneously, You are proactive in following up on input, challenging inconsistencies and ensuring that agreed actions are completed on time.
You have strong writing and editing skills and you communicate confidently with colleagues at different levels of the organisation.
Experience with annual reports, financial reporting, corporate reporting, investor communications or similar corporate publications is required.
In addition:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Journalism or any other relevant field (such as Economics or Business Administration)
- A minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience in a similar position focusing on internal – and external communications within an international or retail organisation, or within a communication consulting agency
- Experience in independently developing, planning and executing communication projects
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (both oral and written)
