Procurement Analyst

Fulltime, 38 hours per week

Are you ready to strengthen the backbone of one of Europe's fastest-growing retail organizations? As our new Procurement Analyst, you'll play a vital role in enabling smooth supplier onboarding, optimizing procurement processes, and delivering insights that drive smarter sourcing decisions. With your structured approach, analytical mindset, and hands-on experience with procurement platforms, you'll help us scale our operations efficiently and compliantly across multiple markets.

This is your daily action

As part of the Procurement Development Team, you'll operate at the intersection of process, data, and stakeholder enablement. You'll onboard suppliers onto SAP Ariba, support the continuous improvement of Source to Contract processes, and translate procurement data into clear, actionable insights. Your day-to-day includes everything from troubleshooting supplier registration to building dashboards, training stakeholders, and supporting RFx processes. You'll work closely with Procurement Managers and cross-functional teams, always keeping one eye on efficiency and the other on compliance and value creation.

Some examples of your tasks:

  • Onboard new suppliers onto the SAP Ariba platform and act as their first point of contact during registration and enablement
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding process
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Source to Contract processes for non-commercial goods
  • Assist in initiatives to streamline procurement operations, reduce complexity, and enhance compliance
  • Develop and maintain robust documentation, knowledge management systems, training materials, and videos
  • Deliver stakeholder training related to procurement rules, systems, and policies
  • Maintain and improve supplier enablement processes and documentation
  • Support the procurement team in the use of procurement tools and platforms
  • Deliver high-quality procurement reports and dashboards (e.g., savings tracking, supplier performance, spend analysis)
  • Provide support to RFx processes and category strategy development
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders
  • Act as key point of contact for Procurement Managers regarding tools, processes, and data insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement practices with business needs

You'll be part of an ambitious, forward-thinking Procurement Development Team that's working at scale with a testing & learning mindset. The team reports to the Lead Procurement Development, who reports to the Head of Procurement. With operations across Europe and plenty of room for process innovation, this role puts you in a position to make real impact.

We welcome more than 15 million customers every week in more than 3,000 stores in 13 European countries. We have great growth ambitions. For Action and for you. Because our growth means that you can always take new steps. A different position, an interesting innovation project, new skills: you can continue to develop as a professional. And all this in a culture where our shared values are truly lived: customer focus, teamwork, simplicity, discipline, cost conscious and respect.

Did you know that you can also count on us for:

  • A market-based salary based on a 38-hour work week
  • 24 days of holiday and the option to buy 5 extra days (based on 38 hours per week)
  • A fixed contract with the intention of offering you a permanent contract in the long term
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of working up to 40% from home, of course in coordination with your team and manager
  • 15% staff discount on your purchases at Action

How we contribute to society

If you only know Action from the stores, a world will open up for you when you come and work with us. We work hard to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you know, for example, that we sponsor more than 2,500 children worldwide who grow up in an SOS Children's Village? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including 155 different nationalities? That we purchase 94% of our wood products and 100% of our cotton sustainably? And that almost all our stores only use energy-efficient LED lighting? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we're facilitating? Join our team and find out for yourself.
