Are you ready to improve and optimize Supply Chain Facility processes within one of Europe’s fastest-growing retailers? As Process Expert SC Facilities, you play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the processes and systems that keep our Supply Chain network running efficiently. From supporting distribution centers across Europe to collaborating with IT and business stakeholders, you ensure our Facility processes are reliable, scalable, and future-proof.

 

You will become part of the SC Support & Process department, where process management, project management, and analytics come together to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our Supply Chain organization.

 

What you’ll do

 

As Process Expert SC Facilities, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of Supply Chain Facility processes and systems. You focus on process reliability, optimization, user support, and continuous improvement while acting as the main point of contact between business and Technology.

 

You work closely with Facility departments, Distribution Centers, Transport teams, Central Planning, and international stakeholders across Europe. In this role, you contribute to improving processes related to building maintenance, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and other supporting Supply Chain activities.

 

Your daily actions


Process management

 

  • Act as the process expert for Supply Chain Facility processes
  • Manage issues, incidents, and questions related to Facility processes within Distribution Centers and Transport operations
  • Independently solve process-related issues or collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions
  • Monitor progress of incidents and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to Facility processes, procedures, and work instructions
  • Gather business and IT requirements for process changes and translate them into process designs and system change requests
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of process and system changes
  • Organize communication and training activities related to process improvements and system updates
  • Support go-lives of system releases and provide on-site support during the opening of new Distribution Centers

 

Knowledge transfer & continuous improvement

 

  • Collect, share, and distribute process knowledge within the Supply Chain Facility organization
  • Support colleagues and implementation teams with process changes and new ways of working
  • Create and maintain process documentation, procedures, work instructions, process flows, and training materials
  • Visit Distribution Centers within the European network to provide support and transfer knowledge
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner for IT and business stakeholders to assess feasibility of improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement methodology within the organization (BLUE)

 

Administration & testing

 

  • Register incidents, problems, and improvement proposals in the designated systems and tools
  • Assess ideas and improvement proposals from stakeholders on feasibility and impact
  • Prepare and execute User Acceptance Tests (UAT), End-to-End testing, and Production Acceptance testing for new processes and implementations
  • Approve Supply Chain process changes in SAP and related systems
  • Maintain and update training documentation to ensure processes remain clear and standardized
  • Manage authorization profiles and user access for Supply Chain roles

You will join the Processes & Systems department within the SC Support & Process organization. This department consists of multiple teams focused on process optimization, systems support, training, and continuous improvement across the entire end-to-end Supply Chain.

 

Together, the team ensures stable and scalable Supply Chain operations while supporting the rapid international growth of Action.

You are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy improving processes, working closely with different stakeholders, and translating operational challenges into practical solutions. You can easily switch between operational support and strategic improvement initiatives and feel comfortable working in an international environment.

 

You also bring:

 

  • HBO/Bachelor level working and thinking ability
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar process-focused role
  • Experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Facilities processes
  • Experience in retail or a fast-paced operational environment is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP or related systems
  • Experience with process improvement and testing activities
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • A proactive and customer-focused mindset
