Your team


You will join the Process & Systems team for Commerce and Supply Chain — a dynamic and growing department consisting of:

 

  • Process Managers
  • Process Experts
  • Data Controllers
  • Data Analysts
  • Product Owners
  • Operational Excellence Specialists

 

Together, we design, optimize, and safeguard the processes and systems that support Action’s rapid international growth. In this role, you will play a key part in improving Direct Import processes — from contract creation through to arrival in our logistics network and integration with Supply Chain operations.

 

Your Role


With more than 3,300 stores, distribution centers, hubs, and cross-docks, Action’s supply chain is constantly evolving. As a Process Expert Direct Import Logistics, you will play a key role in shaping and improving inbound processes, with a focus on simplicity, scalability, and system excellence.


Requirements Translation & Testing

 

  • Gather business requirements from the Inbound Logistics team and translate them into clear IT specifications
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system implementations and upgrades
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business needs before go-live

 

Process Design & Optimization

 

  • Design, document, and continuously improve inbound logistics processes
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve visibility, traceability, and efficiency in Direct Import flows
  • Ensure processes are scalable and future-proof

 

Partner & System Connectivity

 

  • Manage EDI connections with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and external partners
  • Act as the link between Action and partners for system integration and data exchange
  • Ensure stable and reliable system connections

 

Operational Support

 

  • Act as the first point of contact for system-related issues within Inbound Logistics
  • Work with IT, consultants, and business stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Coordinate stakeholders and communicate progress
  • Support the business in achieving operational KPIs

You will contribute to several strategic initiatives:

 

SAP Transportation Management (TM) – Inbound Implementation

 

  • Expanding SAP TM from outbound to inbound logistics
  • Supporting partner selection and solution design
  • Improving visibility and transport management capabilities

 

SAP S/4HANA Rollout

 

  • Supporting end-to-end implementation across the supply chain
  • Ensuring business continuity during a complex transformation

 

Network Expansion

 

  • Supporting new warehouses, hubs, and transport lanes across Europe
  • Ensuring systems and processes are scalable for growth

 

This Is You

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain
  • Affinity with IT systems and process improvement (SAP/TM is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects with different stakeholders
