Process and Systems Analyst – Real Estate (Zwaagdijk)

 

Do you want to play a key role in optimizing processes and systems within our Real Estate department? As a Process & Systems Analyst at Action in Zwaagdijk, you are the expert who ensures structure, standardization, and efficiency. You act as the link between departments, driving further professionalization while having plenty of opportunities to grow yourself.

 

These are your daily ‘’actions’’

 

  • Optimize and standardize processes within Real Estate
  • Functionally manage our Real Estate systems and safeguard data quality
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Lead and facilitate changes in collaboration with other departments
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Train and support colleagues in using systems and process changes

In this role, your day begins by reviewing dashboards and alerts to ensure systems are running smoothly. You might start by analyzing data from recent real estate activities—such as store openings or store maintenance data—to identify process inefficiencies or opportunities for automation. Mid-morning, you’ll join cross-functional meetings with IT, Finance, and Real Estate stakeholders to align on system requirements or enhancements, such as improving the pipeline management tool or integrating new reporting features. After lunch, you could be mapping out a new workflow for CAPEX approvals or documenting a process improvement proposal. Toward the end of the day, you’ll update system documentation, prepare insights for leadership, and support users with training or troubleshooting. No two days are the same, and you can see the direct impact of your work.

 

You start the day with a meeting with your Real Estate colleagues to review ongoing projects. Next, you prepare a system upgrade together with IT. In the afternoon, you discuss with Finance and Store Operations how a process improvement can be rolled out across multiple countries. In between, you provide a training session for users of the Real Estate system. No two days are the same, and you can see the direct impact of your work.

This is you

 

You are passionate about processes and systems and enjoy bringing structure to complex challenges. You work in a structured way, communicate clearly, and know how to engage others in improvements. You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (HBO+ level)
  • At least 5 years of experience in process optimization within retail
  • Experience with IWMS systems such as Planon or other Real Estate Facility management software.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; another European language is a plus
  • A proactive mindset and strong organizational skills

You will join the Real Estate – Projects, Systems & Processes team. Together, you ensure clear processes and systems that form the foundation for Action’s further growth. The team is professional, ambitious, and close-knit, and works closely with colleagues from other disciplines such as IT, Finance, and Store Operations.
