The HR team at Action is expanding! We are looking for a results-driven HR Process and Internal Control Expert to join the HR Processes & Risk team. In this role, you will develop, strengthen and continuously improve HR processes to support cross-functional and cross-border alignment. Read on and apply quickly!
These are your daily actions
As an HR Process Specialist and Internal Control Expert, you will report to the Manager HR Process & Risks. You will focus on implementing the improved HR process model, developing clear process documentation, assessing processes in relation to key risks and controls, standardising processes across countries and HR sub-functions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Together with process and system owners, you will work on process optimisation and compliance to ensure our HR objectives are achieved.
In short, you will:
- Support the implementation of the new HR process governance structure
- Identify and document key risks and controls within HR processes together with process and/or system owners
- Create and maintain high-quality process documentation
- Review and validate process implementation and execution, and support the identification of bottlenecks and improvements
- Maintain the overall HR control framework
- Follow up on internal and external audit findings within HR and monitor the quarterly risk management cycle
- Act as the primary point of contact for process and/or system owners and experts across all HR teams, including all countries
- Work closely with HR project managers and process experts from other functional domains (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance and Commerce)

As strong coordination between teams is essential in this role, we expect you to have confident communication skills. You also have a solution-oriented mindset and naturally assess the current environment to identify improvement opportunities. You are proactive, have a sharp eye for detail and work with speed and a strong sense of urgency. In addition, you are energised and self-motivated by working in a highly dynamic, multicultural environment.
Next, you also bring with you:
- Professional and intellectual capabilities at a minimum bachelor’s level
- At least 3 years of experience in process management and/or internal control roles
- Experience with process standards (e.g. APQC frameworks) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean)
- Experience with process management tools (e.g. Signavio)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
