As a People Development Specialist, you play an important role in bringing Action’s talent strategy to life. You turn strategic plans into practical frameworks, tools and development solutions that support Action’s international growth.

Your Daily Actions
As a People Development Specialist, you work closely with the Talent Manager and the wider Talent team to develop and deliver talent initiatives across the organisation. You help turn strategic ideas into practical frameworks, tools, and solutions that support employees in our stores, distribution centres, and offices.
You coordinate projects, work with International HR Managers and other stakeholders, and help keep initiatives on track. You also prepare presentations, reports, and project updates, while maintaining project documentation and supporting talent topics such as learning, performance management, succession planning, and career development. Throughout your work, you look for opportunities to improve processes and make development simple and effective.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve talent management frameworks and processes.
- Design learning solutions and supporting materials for stores, distribution centers, and offices.
- Translate business needs into practical tools, templates, and guidelines.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and insights for stakeholders and leadership.
- Work with International HR Managers and other stakeholders to gather feedback and implement improvements.
- Coordinate project planning, timelines, and follow-up actions to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and development materials.
- Support projects across learning & development, Talent management, succession planning, competencies, and career development.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and make people development more effective.

This Is You
You enjoy creating structure, coordinating projects, and working with different stakeholders. You can translate complex topics into practical solutions and like improving the way people develop.
You bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Change Management, or a related field
- +5 years of experience in HR, Talent, Learning & Development, or a related role
- Knowledge of talent management, learning, performance management, change and people development
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with experience creating executive presentations, reports, dashboards and stakeholder communications)
- The ability to analyse information and provide practical recommendations
- Experience preparing presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications
- Strong communication skills in English
- A proactive, collaborative mindset
