As Manager Store Projects, you play a key role in optimizing our store operations, working together with an enthusiastic team that truly makes a difference for colleagues across all our countries. 

 

What will you do?

 

  • Coordinate the full project portfolio within Store Operations. 
  • Lead and coach a team of Project Managers. 
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with departments such as Commerce, HR, Supply Chain, and IT to align projects with business priorities. 
  • Monitor progress, manage resources, and set the right priorities across all initiatives 
  • Support Central Store Operations management team in defining the strategic roadmap 

 

A day in your life at Action


Your day starts with a team meeting to discuss current project progress and challenges. Afterwards, you align with other Project Portfolio Managers, from various departments, on the upcoming project priorities. After lunch, you work together with the Process Owners to reflect on how to further optimize our store daily processes. In the afternoon, you spend your time with your team, coaching them on project management best practices and stakeholder management. No two days are the same, but every day you help make our stores even more successful.

Who you are


You are an inspiring leader with a passion for process improvement and team development. You know how to motivate people, communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, and keep things simple in a complex environment. You are structured, result-oriented, and bring positive energy to your team. 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (academic working and thinking level). 
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management, including 5 years in a managerial role. 
  • Experience within retail or store operations is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Six Sigma, Lean, or Prince2 certification is an advantage. 
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, coaching, and structured execution.

You’ll join the Central Store Operations department, which supports our stores with clear guidelines, smart solutions, and continuous improvement. Within this department, you lead the Store Projects team — a group of dedicated Project Managers and Coordinators working on initiatives that have real impact on the shop floor. Together, you make sure our stores can perform at their best.
