Action is looking for a Manager Financial Process Expertise within Financial Projects & Processes. You will lead a team of experts focused on efficient and controlled financial Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. This is your daily action
Your team, Financial Process Expertise S2P, ensures that Action’s finance function is supported by modern systems and a coherent financial process & control framework. As the Team Lead, your challenge is to realize significant improvements of the effectiveness, efficiency, and risk mitigation of our main financial processes.
In this role, it is very important to maintain close contact with the stakeholders involved. These include managers and team leads within the finance discipline, program and project managers.
Within your area of expertise you are the connecting pin between Operations and Technology. You determine priority in change and as such the transformation roadmap in S2P.
You manage your team, ensuring everyone continues to be highly motivated to realize ambitious targets. In addition:
- You ensure that a financial process model, supported by high quality process documentation is in place;
- You coordinate the implementation of the Risk Control Framework relative to financial processes;
- Process performance will be monitored based on a set of KPIs that you design + maintain;
- You drive process redesign initiatives, addressing the impact on systems and taking responsibility for business change.
- Focus area’s include source to pay process improvement for our non commercial purchasing with the use of Ariba & VIM; digitalization of commercial and non commercial invoices, partly driven by new legislation, partly by efficiency opportunities & optimization of rental contract & invoice handling.

Within the team Financial Projects & Processes there are two Process teams, one focusing on S2P and one on R2R & O2C. The expert team S2P consists of 6 enthusiastic and committed team members, some with an international background. As the team lead, you report to the Head of Financial Projects & Processes who in addition manages our project and program managemers.
Financial Projects & Processes is part of Financial Services which handles the entire administration of our international organisation and employs around 100 different specialists. This is you
As a Manager Financial Process Expertise, you are an experienced manager of people in an international setting and possess coaching skills that fit the professional level of your team members. In addition:
- You are educated at master’s degree level and subsequently obtained an executive master’s degree, e.g. as a chartered accountant or chartered controller;
- Your prior work experience includes at least 10 years in roles such as financial or business controller, auditor or consultant, process expert, project manager or in business facing technology positions delivering significant changes in large organizations;
- Your work experience includes an operational or advisory role in the S2P domain, for example as an AP manager or S2P consultant in a finance transformation
- You obtained certifications in project management (Prince2 foundation level) and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma green belt level);
- You have knowledge of the SAP product suite supporting financial processes, of financial processes, and of audit, risk management and internal control practices;
- You have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written and you are comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior management.
