The Retail Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for protecting company assets and profitability by preventing, detecting, and investigating loss across stores, supply chain, payments, e commerce, and organized retail crime (ORC).The role leads an integrated loss prevention approach, combining operational leadership, data driven insights, and effective investigations to reduce shrink and fraud across the end to end retail value chain. The position also leads the Stock Loss Working Group, driving cross functional alignment and sustainable loss reduction actions.

As Loss Prevention Manager, you are responsible for protecting the company’s assets and profitability by preventing, detecting, and investigating loss across stores, supply chain, payments, e commerce, and organised retail crime (ORC).
You play a key role in reducing shrink across the end to end retail value chain by combining operational leadership, data driven insights, and effective investigations. You take ownership of store shrink by working closely with Store Operations to identify internal, external, and process related root causes of loss and translating these insights into practical prevention strategies, controls, and training. In addition, you lead the Stock Loss Working Group, bringing together stakeholders from Supply Chain, Commerce, Marketing (Format), Finance, and Store Operations to drive cross functional alignment and sustainable loss reduction initiatives.
Across the wider business, you strengthen loss prevention controls within the supply chain and manage fraud risks related to payments, refunds, returns, loyalty programs and e commerce transactions. Through strong partnerships with internal teams and external providers, you continuously improve visibility, accountability, and the effectiveness of loss prevention and fraud controls, while promoting a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

In addition:
- Related to study background or work experience:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Economics, Criminology, Security Management, or Risk Management.
- Additional training or certifications in loss prevention, fraud, security, or investigations are considered a strong plus.
- Proven experience in retail loss prevention, fraud management, security, or risk management.
- Strong experience with store shrink reduction, loss prevention strategies, and investigations.
- Experience with supply chain loss, including distribution centers, transport, and logistics partners.
- Exposure to fraud topics such as payments, refunds, returns, loyalty programs, and e commerce transactions.
- Experience using data and analytics to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- A background in working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders in a complex retail or omnichannel environment.
