Your daily action


Working at Action is like no other. With more than 3,000 stores across 15 European countries, the Logistics Administration Services department plays a central role in keeping the entire supply chain running efficiently. As Specialist II, you are the go-to expert for complex administrative and financial processes, and you play a senior role in the team.

Concretely, your work will include:

  • Executing end-to-end logistics administrative processes across Transport, Facilities, DC Portfolio and Store Distribution
  • Processing logistics-related invoices, service charges and settlements accurately and on time
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring purchase orders, contracts and vendor data
  • Registering and maintaining asset, equipment and lease administration
  • Handling complex claims, damages, fines, tolls, taxes and tickets according to defined procedures
  • Supporting cost allocation, KPI reporting and data reconciliation across logistics domains
  • Providing accurate input for period close, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Acting as administrative point of contact for Logistics Operations, Procurement, Finance and external suppliers
  • Coaching and onboarding less experienced colleagues and acting as informal knowledge resource
  • Identifying inefficiencies and leading standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Meet your team


You will join the Logistics Administration Services department — a centralised service function that supports all logistics domains across Action’s supply chain. The team is responsible for standardised processes, financial control, compliance, cost transparency and scalability across the entire logistics landscape. You will work closely with colleagues in Finance, Procurement and Logistics Operations, as well as with external suppliers across Europe.
As Specialist II, you play a senior role: you act as a sparring partner for Operations and Finance, take ownership of complex cases and help shape how the team works.

You thrive on structure, accuracy and getting things right the first time. You are analytical, proactive and comfortable working with financial data across multiple systems. You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels and know how to turn complexity into clear, actionable outcomes.

  • MBO Level 4 or HBO degree
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or financial administration, including complex cases
  • Solid knowledge of logistics administration and financial processes (must-have)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SAP and Outlook
  • Business-level English, written and verbal
  • Analytically strong with the ability to identify, signal and implement process improvements
  • Experience preparing and communicating financial reports
  • Natural coach: you support and onboard less experienced colleagues with confidence
  • Accurate, structured and result-oriented — with an eye for commercial impact
