Description:

Location Portfolio Analyst – Zwaagdijk

Do you have strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and would you like to contribute to the growth of one of Europe's fastest-growing non-food retailers? In your role as a Location Portfolio Analyst in Zwaagdijk, you will help to shape our international expansion strategy using your insights and analyses. You will work on smart, data-driven decisions for new store locations together with your colleagues in the Real Estate team in order to contribute to sustainable growth and an optimal shopping experience for millions of customers.

Your tasks

  • Jointly design and expand data analysis within Real Estate
  • Support the long-term planning of our store location policy using data analytics
  • Translate strategic objectives into insights for the country teams to make better location choices
  • Develop and maintain business plans and long-term plans for the Real Estate Management team
  • Advise internal stakeholders on location choices and investments

A typical working day

You will start your day with a brainstorming session on location data. Together with your colleagues, you will look at which stores are performing well or less well and discuss any data points that may be a factor. These insights will allow you to formulate a number of hypotheses, after which you can begin to analyse them further.

Later on in the day, you will discuss the initial findings and draft follow-up questions for further investigation. You will then have a call with the French team, where you will share the most important 'white spots' in their market. Together, you will compare these insights with their local views to arrive at an overall picture of the situation.
