Junior Commercial Planner
Junior Commercial Planner
(Zwaagdijk | 32-38hrs per week)
Shape what customers see—and when they see it
Do you enjoy turning data into decisions that actually impact what ends up on shelves (or in carts)? As a Commercial Planner, you’re not just forecasting numbers—you’re shaping the success of entire product categories.
In this role, you’ll sit at the center of everything: commercial strategy, buying decisions, and supply chain execution. Your insights will directly influence what we sell, how much we sell, and how well we meet customer demand.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll take ownership of the demand plan for your category—making sure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities.
On any given day, you will:
- Turn data, trends, and commercial plans into accurate demand forecasts
- Spot opportunities and risks early by analyzing sales performance and KPIs
- Act quickly on deviations—adjusting plans before they become problems
- Partner closely with buyers, challenging and guiding assortment decisions
- Identify when to push products, delay launches, or introduce new items
- Ensure healthy stock levels while avoiding overstock or missed sales
- Work hand-in-hand with Supply Chain to maximize product availability
- Balance commercial ambition with operational reality
- Keep SKU levels efficient and aligned with business targets
What you bring to the table
You’re someone who combines analytical strength with business instinct. You don’t just report numbers—you question them, interpret them, and act on them.
We’re looking for:
- A degree in a quantitative or analytical field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong forecasting and supply chain understanding
- Advanced Excel skills—you’re comfortable working with complex data
- Experience in retail or a fast-moving, international environment (a plus)
- Familiarity with SAP, Symphony, or similar tools (nice to have)
- Fluency in English (additional European languages are a bonus)
Who you are
- Curious and analytical—you naturally look for patterns and insights
- Confident and constructive—you’re comfortable challenging decisions
- Structured and organized—even when things move fast
Why this role is exciting
- This is a role with real impact. Your forecast doesn’t sit in a report—it drives decisions across the business. From influencing what gets bought to ensuring products are available for customers, your work is visible and meaningful.
- You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and where your ideas and insights genuinely shape outcomes.
