Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution Architect – Security Operations

Action Technology is looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution Architect to design, develop, and help implementing IAM solutions to strengthen Action’s security posture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IAM technologies, strong architectural skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure secure and efficient user access management.

This is your daily tasks

As an IAM Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting end-to-end IAM solutions that align with both business requirements and Action’s security policies. You will actively participate in projects involving the integration with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM), ensuring a secure and seamless user access experience.

In this role, you will develop a comprehensive identity strategy, along with an IAM framework, policies, and standards that support consistent and scalable identity governance. Close collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with the Information Security Office, technology teams, and business stakeholders to assess IAM requirements and deliver effective solutions. A key responsibility will be evaluating and selecting an appropriate IGA tool. Additionally, you will design and manage the integration of applications with the IGA solution, ensuring seamless onboarding, lifecycle management, and adherence to governance standards.

This is you

You have extensive knowledge with IAM and feel at home with the options, concepts and technology concepts. You understand the dynamics and division of responsibilities in an environment where much is outsourced to our partners. You will help out where necessary if there are problems.
When you see that the scope extends beyond IAM, you enjoy talking with various stakeholders, building bridges, and making technical decisions.

You also have the following:

• A higher professional or university education, preferably in IAM, IT or another Security-related area
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in information technology and 3 years in the role of IAM solution architect
• Proven experience in this field
• Experience with common IAM solutions such as Entra ID Governance, Sailpoint
• Excellent communication in English (both written and verbal). Dutch would be great.
• Experience with change management and incident handling
• Ability to comprehend business requirements from stakeholders and effectively translate them into functional specifications.
