We have a new opportunity supporting the Supply Chain in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Are you the HR Business Partner to support our Distribution Centers in Spain, Italy and Portugal? Are you ready to support 3 existing DC’s and open 3 new DC’s the coming 12 Months?
We look for an HRBP to ensure all HR related matters for the Supply Chain in Spain, Italy and Portugal are delivered. Read on.

Working at Action isn't like working at any other company. With more than 3000 stores, 16 distribution centers, hubs, cross docks and an ambitious growth plan, our supply chain is always evolving.
The focus of the HRBP is to deploy the HR strategy and ensure the Supply Chain Spain, Italy and Portugal, achieves its goals. Today we have our first outsourced distribution centers near Madrid in Spain and in Italy near Milan and Bologna. We are preparing the opening of an outsourced DC near Rome and started the HR work to start our first Insourced DC near Barcelona/Tarragona in Spain. We are ramping up for a first DC in Portugal.
Your first major deliverable will be to set up HR for Action Logistics Spain – including all decisions on CLA/HR Operations and team to successfully recruit around 200 colleagues. For our existing outsourced DC’s you support the teams which manage the Outsourced providers and the dispatch departments – approximately 40 FTE in 2 countries.
This is a team effort where you will be directly responsible for the hiring and onboarding including support to leaders with stabilizing the resourcing of the DC’s after opening. You will informally lead this as a team effort, existing of colleagues from HR Project Management, HR Services and HR Central.
To be connected you will visit the teams in each distribution center regularly. Understand their unique challenges, develop staffing plans and strategies to ensure each centre is adequately staffed with the right skill sets.
Furthermore:
· Organizing and proactively following up the HR deliverables to provide quality services on the one hand, and to contribute as HR department to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives on the other.
· Coordination of HR processes (ensure timely and compliant preparation of reports and declarations)
· Monitor the HR activities concerning labor and social security law, payroll, performance appraisals, training and development, recruitment and remuneration systems.
· In cooperation with the line managers, identify and deliver the development needs of the employees within the organization
· Develop and coordinate the introduction of HR regulations and procedures, monitor changes in labor law provisions and HR trends
· Manage the Labor Relations to have a constructive impact on the DC performance
· Preparation of reports, summaries and statements resulting from applicable legal provisions and in relation with company internal tools and requirements
Meet your team
Weekly, more than 11 million customers visit one of our 3000+ stores in Europe, and we regularly open new stores and distribution centers. It's a growing logistical challenge, requiring international collaboration to get over 6,000 products into the stores at the lowest price.
In Supply Chain currently 13.000 People ensure the stores are full. We operate in 7 countries and will add more DC’s in more countries the coming years. Together as HR Supply Chain team we make sure the right people are motivated in their jobs. We work together as international team and with our colleagues from HR Expertise and Services. Together with the Supply Chain Operations we are One Action.
This is you
You're familiar with an international Supply Chain environment and can hold your own in the fast-paced retail world. You can balance a HR “build new DC” agenda with continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who actively seeks out the needs and wishes of the internal client and delivers, when possible, even more quickly than agreed or expected from the (internal) client. You combine strategic HR Business Partnering with hands on delivery. You like to deliver HR impact and can manage Labor Relations to ensure delivery. You see this role as a basis for personal growth when we add more Insourced DC’s in Spain, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
