Lead Procurement Manager Supply Chain

As the Lead Procurement Manager Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in our existing business and international expansion. Supporting our Supply Chain organization, you will set the course for its procurement, build strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers, and work closely with colleagues from across Europe. Together, you will ensure that our supply chain is ready for the future: efficient, scalable, and sustainable.

What will you do?

  • Lead the procurement team for our Supply Chain organization (logistics and transport service providers, sea freight, materials handling equipment, and distribution centers) (4 FTE)
  • Develop category plans and contracts with suppliers.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues from logistics, legal, and finance to achieve joint results.
  • Strengthen cooperation and knowledge sharing within the international procurement team.
  • As a Lead, you will also be involved in the daily operations of the team and provide support.

What does your workday look like?

You start with a meeting with fellow leads about the progress of a five-year plan. Then you discuss with logistics service providers the possibilities for new contracts in line with our expansion plans. In the afternoon, you collaborate with Business Control on budgeting and with Legal on compliance issues. In between, you have contact with your team members, coach them in their development, and ensure that everyone stays focused.
