Are you looking to advance your career within Compensation and Benefits at one of Europe’s fastest-growing retailers? At Action, we have an exciting opportunity as our Compensations & Benefits team is expanding. We are looking for a pragmatic and hands-on Compensation and Benefits Specialist, with a strong focus on job evaluation using Hay methodology. This role isn’t just about strategies, it’s about diving deep into operational execution and making a real impact on our people and processes.
What You’ll Do:
- Job Evaluation Expert: Your pragmatic approach will be vital in supporting and executing job evaluation processes using Hay methodology, helping refine our job architecture to reflect our dynamic growth.
- Support and Shape C&B Policies: You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits policies, from salary structures and bonus schemes to long-term incentives across our HQ and all 14 international markets.
- Hands-On Operational Excellence: Play a key role in executing and updating our lease policy alongside our fleet coordinator, and manage day-to-day business travel operations.
- Analytical Insights: Use HR data creatively and effectively, spotting trends and delivering insights that drive better decision-making, improve employee engagement, and enhance overall performance.
- C&B Administration: You’ll actively participate in the annual compensation and benefits cycle using SuccessFactors, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
About You:
You’re pragmatic, detail-oriented, and driven by efficiency. You're not a purely theoretical thinker; you enjoy diving into challenges, troubleshooting hands-on, and bringing solutions to life. With a structured approach and a keen eye for simplification, you're comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Team spirit comes naturally to you, and you thrive in collaborative environments.
In addition, you’ll bring:
- A degree in Business, HR, Finance, or related field;
- 5+ years’ experience within Compensation & Benefits;
- Experience with Hay job evaluation methodology;
- Excellent practical analytical skills with proficiency in Excel;
- Strong communication skills in English; an additional language is beneficial.
