C&B Specialist
C&B Specialist (Focus on Travel)
Are you ready to make a real impact on how we travel within Action? Join us at our international headquarters in Zwaagdijk as a C&B Specialist (Focus on Travel) and help shape the way Action’s employees travel for business. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage and optimise our travel policies and vendors, support colleagues with expert guidance, and ensure safe and cost-effective travel across our growing organisation. With your analytical mindset and strong stakeholder skills, you’ll keep our business moving—literally—while contributing to our values of simplicity, cost-consciousness and teamwork.
This is your daily Action
You start your day by checking policy queries from various departments and providing clear, pragmatic advice. You then prepare a report for management on current travel spend and compliance, offering insights and areas for optimisation. In the afternoon, you liaise with one of our external travel vendors for a performance review and brainstorm improvements on traveler’s safety with a colleague from the Security team. All in a day’s work to keep our business travel smooth and cost-effective.
Your main responsibilities:
- Advise colleagues and managers on business travel topics and policy
- Ensure travel arrangements comply with internal policies and budgets
- Manage relationships with travel vendors such as airlines, hotel chain and rental car companies
- Support in developing travel safety and security procedures
- Monitor travel costs and implement improvements where needed
- Prepare clear travel reports to support decision-making

This is you
You’re a proactive professional who enjoys connecting the dots between policy, people and processes. You understand the importance of cost efficient and safe travel in a fast-paced, international business and you thrive on helping others work safely and efficiently across borders.
We think you’ll need:

- At least 5 years of experience in travel management, preferably in an international environment
- A background in travel services is a plus
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
In addition, you:
- Are organised and stick to deadlines
- Communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders
- Work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Bring a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Enjoy working collaboratively across teams and cultures
