About Us
We are a fast-growing, non-food discounter with more than 3,000 stores in 14 different countries, our Technology department plays an important role in the continuous expansion of our distribution network.
Your Role
As Application Analyst Commerce IT, you are responsible for the operational stability, incident handling and functional support of applications within the Commerce IT domain, where we are for example responsible for the buying process and article data.
You ensure that incidents and problems are resolved effectively, service levels are met, and changes are implemented in a controlled manner. You act as the functional expert and first escalation point for business users and suppliers.
The focus is on application continuity, incident management and structured change support within a BizTech environment.
Your Daily Tasks
- Own incident management within the Commerce IT (registration, prioritization, coordination, resolution and communication);
- Monitor application performance and service levels in cooperation with suppliers and internal IT teams;
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and contribute to structural improvements (problem management);
- Coordinate application changes, assess functional impact and support controlled implementation;
- Translate functional business questions into clear application specifications where required;
- Safeguard application documentation, configuration standards and knowledge management;
- Support testing activities for fixes and minor enhancements;
- Support and contribute to IT projects that deliver improvements, changes and/or integrations;
- Act as functional escalation point towards external vendors and internal stakeholders.

What You Offer
- Affinity with retail, IT, SAP, ERP, software engineering and/or Master Data Management.
- Good communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Organized work approach, meeting agreed deadlines, and working according to guidelines.
- Results-oriented and pragmatic approach to work.
- Ability to handle time pressure and work effectively both independently and in a team.
- Higher professional education, preferably in information technology and/or Data Management.
- Relevant work experience in IT is preferred.
- Knowledge of Product Management processes and/or systems is preferred.
- Fluency English, both spoken and written. Dutch would be preferred.
