(Senior) Product Manager - Commercial Communications
(Senior) Product Manager - Commercial Communications
(Fulltime / 38 hours per week)
Are you excited about creating and delivering successful marketing campaigns? As (Senior) Product Manager - Commercial Communications, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of marketing communication and campaigns specifically targeting the “Awareness” and “Consideration” phases of the customer journey. You are a representative for the Action brand in its marketing communications, leading a multidisciplinary value stream to deliver high-impact campaigns and brand propositions from the commercial calendar across both paid, owned and earned channels, including organic social and influencer campaigns. Besides launching campaigns and content across the funnel, the team adapts current trends and opportunities in customer messaging. Your primary objective is to ensure that millions of (future) fans across Europe remain surprised and engaged with our brand week after week.
This is your daily action
In this role, you add value by bridging the gap between business& marketing objectives, engaging customer communication and technical execution when relevant.
Your scope and accountabilities include:
- Campaign & Content Delivery: You are responsible for realizing and delivering the full commercial calendar across paid and owned channels, ranging from high-impact seasonal and "push" campaigns to targeted communications for niche categories, everyday essentials, our low-price proposition, loyalty and ecommerce.
- Adaptability is key: Responding to performance and actuality (based on various triggers)
- Prioritization & Backlog: You are accountable for ordering the value stream backlog. You set priorities by synthesizing strategy, OKRs, QBRs, the Portfolio wall, and evidence-based discovery.
- Outcome Drive: You ensure stakeholder alignment and focus the multidisciplinary team on maximizing delivered value through evidence-based decision-making.
- Shared Responsibility: While you are accountable for the final decisions, you foster an environment where responsibility is shared across team members, sponsors, and the leadership team.
- Agile Excellence: Operating within an agile environment, ensure Action’s strategic objectives are met through best-in-class tools and automation.

How we contribute to society
If you only know Action from the stores, a world will open up for you when you come and work with us. We work hard to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you know, for example, that we support thousands of children worldwide who grow up in an SOS Children's Village? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including 151 different nationalities? That we purchase 100% of our wood products and 100% of our cotton sustainably? And that all our stores, DC’s and offices only use energy-efficient LED lighting? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we’re facilitating? There’s a lot more we are proud of and we would love for you to be part of it.
